The area

You find Languedoc in the south of France not far from the spanish border. It`s a great area with a wonderful climate. The Mediterranean, the Pyrenees, the winefields and Canal du midi is close to our district. And you`ll discover there is a whole lot to do here.

Languedoc produce ¼ of all wine in France. The wine is of very good quality to a very nice price.

The nearest towns are Carcassonne, Narbonne and Montpellier.

There is a lot of places we can recommend to visit and we have chosen some suggestions here. Minerve

is an old village of the Cathars, and is surrounding by a canyon.

You may visit the 1000 year old castle of Carcassonne, spend a day on the beautiful beaches of Narbonne or take a guided tour on Canal du Midi.

You may also visit a Chateau for wine tasting, or go to one of the local markets where you can taste and by spesialities from the area.
